Knee-High by 4th of.....January

American sayings like "Knee-high by the 4th of July" don't really apply to African farming, but the exciting thing is that this corn IS knee-high! We take nothing for granted as there are so many factors that make success in this climate challenging.  Every inch of growth is another answer to prayer! 

 Here is a type of squash/pumpkin surrounded by some wild greens which are also edible.
